Role Description

The Foundry Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day foundry operations, including melting, moulding, pouring, casting, heat treatment, and fettling. The role involves managing shop-floor teams, monitoring process parameters, ensuring production schedules are met, and maintaining required quality and safety standards. The supervisor will also coordinate with quality, maintenance, and planning teams, troubleshoot process issues, maintain production records, and support continuous improvement initiatives across foundry operations.

Qualifications

• 11–15 years of relevant foundry industry experience

• Strong hands-on experience in melting, moulding, pouring, and casting of non-ferrous/copper-based alloys

• Prior experience with machine moulding and shell moulding

• Experience in Gun Metal casting will be an advantage

• Strong shop-floor supervision and team-management skills

• Ability to monitor production, quality, and process parameters

• Knowledge of foundry safety and environmental practices

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is preferred
