Role Description

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing activities and ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently and safely. The role involves production planning, manpower allocation, monitoring shop-floor operations, and coordinating melting and manufacturing of copper-based alloy ingots as per required specifications. The supervisor will work closely with quality, maintenance, and planning teams to maintain production schedules, address process issues, ensure quality standards are met, and drive improvements in productivity and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in foundry, non-ferrous metal, or manufacturing operations

• Hands-on experience in melting and production of copper-based alloy ingots

• Strong understanding of production planning and shop-floor operations

• Experience in team supervision, manpower allocation, and shift management

• Ability to monitor production processes, quality, and output

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Knowledge of workplace safety and manufacturing procedures

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is preferred

• Good communication and basic computer skills for production reporting and documentation
